The Association for Information and Image Management or AIIM (pronounced aim) is a non-profit membership organization. AIIM provides education, market research, certification, and standards for information professionals. AIIM was founded in 1943 as the National Microfilm Association. It became "AIIM" in 1982. The organization advocates that information at work should be simple, secure, and available anywhere, anytime, and on any device. ==The AIIM Conference== The AIIM Conference was officially launched in 2012. The annual event brings together over 600 attendees, consisting mostly of information management end-users, from over 25 countries to see presentations and take part in discussions on the best practices, current trends, and top issues facing the information management industry.
